Truckers know what to do in rain and fog, do you?
Before you get behind the wheel on a day that could produce rain or fog,
do what truckers do.
They first make sure that their windshield is free of any type of oily film and
dirt. Both can interfere with the effectiveness of windshield wipers.
The American Trucking Association says rain can be a particular problem after a
spell of dry weather. With a slight drizzle and all the oil on the road, it can
be more slippery than ice.
